I have just discovered The Google Arts Project, and I wonder how I will get out of the house today! More than 200 museums from around the world have uploaded 40.000 works of art so far, and I could easily spend a day browsing; what I have seen from the entrance was simply magnetic! I walked through New York City with Berenice Abbott in 1935, and had a close look at her Newsstand. Funny how then ‘now’ was also ‘NOW!’
The next minute I had a quick look in The Hunan Provincial Museum, and spotted a work from Qi Baishi, Lychees And Mantis, drawn in 1948.
I have to pull myself loose, as I have a busy day ahead, with another boys party at the bowling alley, and a long drive Up North in the evening. An excellent opportunity to try and post from the iPad (this was the first, does it look allright, I wonder. Can’t do much about the images this way…)
