IF in the neighborhood and IF wanting to go out in the storm, you could visit the PARKLIGHT project in the Frankendael park in Amsterdam Oost-Watergraafsmeer. Sixteen light artists have contributed to an exciting walk through the park, and this neon sign is one of the works on show. It is placed in the pond in front of the renowned restaurant De Kas.
As a trained graphic designer I can’t resist calling this photo BARADISE.
Sometimes typography can be hard.
But! Baradise could actually be what it is meant to say. Baradise is a good name for a place with a licence, I’d say.
PS: I love the word paradise in neon. It instantly transforms its environment into a gallery of thought 😉
