For a project I had a quick look online for a cmyk translation of a blue swatch I wanted to use, as I couldn’t find my Pantone color guide, and came across this chart on Wikipedia. It reads like poetry!
Funny there’s also an International Klein Blue. This must be after the artist Yves Klein, who worked with blue a lot (or only??). And naked bodies. Going by the black and white photography I can see the time frame in which his work got a lot of attention. Must have been outrageous.
Although he did this rather ordinary painting too. Or. Is it a group thing?
