The picture above shows the artist’s studio inside The Mouse House – the incredible work of art by Karina Schaapman.
The house is 2 meters wide by 3 meters tall and has over 100 rooms (!). There’s also a picture book telling the stories of the little lives of the mouse inhabitants. All rooms and their stories are intertwined, reflecting an amazing story of a hidden mouse society rather than ‘just’ a fairytale.
I love the fact that the whole room is no bigger than a kingsize matchbox and the universe still fits the canvas.
… a lovely studio too … enviable!
