Winter fantasy
Last week my son (10) brought this home: a selfmade winter landscape, the way we know and like it this time of year, nice and cold with frosty blues and whites.
But! unfortunately we havent’ seen much of winter yet, some snow up north but nothing here, and yesterday it was officially the hottest day in January ever measured in the Netherlands, with temperatures rising over 16 C in the south…
Meanwhile yesterday morning – someone with whom I work, based in China, sent me some pictures from her hometown Guanzhou, near HongKong – latitude of the pyramids more or less – and she was all exited: “There is snow in Guanzhou!!” .
