This is another photograph from the album I stumbled upon in a junk shop last summer. A tranquil view onto a mountain, probably taken in Indonesia, in the 1050’s (going by the complete series). The eye is drawn to the mountain in the back, where clouds seem to rise from its peak, and it was only after looking at it for a while that I noticed the stone in the front…
