Stuff. + support – a shame the poster has no speaker
On my way to the Bowie exhibition in Groningen, I came across this poster. STUFF caught my eye, as stuff is a theme in my life 😉

Then, the other day while cooking, with the television on in the background, I was caught by a groovy tune, something jazzy, funky, instrumental and it turned out to be them!
[Maybe a producer of the tv-show did the same thing; go see Bowie, walk that street up to the museum and PAF! hit by typography. STUFF. The full stop is part of the name.]
They are in 5 and Belgian, they describe their sound as a crossgenre groove, from broken hiphop to more electronic and jazz influenced future funk. All good references and listening to their music you do get hints of…Daft Punk? Nile Rodgers? Spyro Gyra? Azymuth? An echo of Timmy Thomas? Cool Club Stuff definitely.
