On the left from Creative Review one from a series of reissues of Russian classics, and on the right my design for the cover of a personal book. An idea that popped up when I saw the Tolstoy cover.

The series covers, designed by the in-house team at Vintage, who reissue the Russian classics. 

Most of the textiles used in the cover designs come from the collection of Susan Meller, author and founder of The Design Library in New York.
