PAGES 080119 | Happy Accident* |Photo wilsontichelaar©

This picture I took after the silence was back in the room and I was alone cleaning up after one of my first workshops teaching children in primary school as an artist. It was about painting an important event, inspired by paintings from the 17th century.

*) After the cult tv presenter/art teacher Bob Ross – There are no mistakes, just happy accidents being one of his comforting advices for painters at home.

[ Because we all want to relax more. Apparently – a few things I picked from the news – the people in general are tired, the pace of daily life has to come down. Shops must be shut again on Sundays, for one. And the godawful amount of time we are connected, switched on. We want to unplug.]

Google on The Longing For Quietg

And paint, I would like to paint more.
