An image I stumbled upon in my archive. It’s a faceted mirror.

Then I turned it over and

reflections_looking up

It becomes an eye. We’re looking up at the eye, which you notice when you turn the mirror again, upside down, and the eyelid becomes a dark line under the  eye.

The actual eye is once the sky – left, looking up to the mirror – or a pool – right, looking down onto it.
