A 36 minute painting from the view from the guest room. The boat is Henny, it’s ours. Having a boat, living in Amsterdam is a one of my favorite things.
It’s a painting I did this morning, downstairs where the guest room – no longer in use during the lockdown – is now my studio. It’s a nice space and I tried to catch the view.
The boat is ours, it’s called Henny, it came with the name, and you shouldn’t change a boat’s name, that would mean bad luck. So we have become attached to Henny. And it’s a soothing image to see it across the canal reminding me of outdoor fun we had.
